On 12 May 2016, the freenet Annual General Meeting approved the payment of a dividend for the financial year 2015 in the amount of 1.55 euros per share. The dividend is carried out from the tax deposit account in accordance with § 27 Corporate Income Tax Act. Payment date was 13 May 2016.

On 21 May 2015, the freenet Annual General Meeting approved the payment of a dividend for the financial year 2014 in the amount of 1.50 euros per share. The dividend is carried out from the tax deposit account in accordance with § 27 Corporate Income Tax Act. The dividend will be paid thus without deduction of capital gains tax and solidarity surcharge. Payment date was 22 May 2015.

Share capital increase (July 2008)
The acquisition of the debitel Group by freenet AG was completed on 5 July 2008. As consideration for the acquisition of the debitel Group, freenet AG issued 32 million new bearer shares with no par value to the seller.

The number of bearer shares with no par value consequently increased from 96,061,016 to 128,061,016.
