Sabine Christiansen has been appointed to the freenet AG Supervisory Board. freenet AG looks forward to working with her in future.

"Ms Christiansen’s expertise as a veteran business and political journalist with international experience, and as a media entrepreneur who has won multiple awards especially for her social skills makes her a valuable new member of the Supervisory Board," says Christoph Vilanek, CEO and Chairman of the freenet AG Executive Board.

"With the experience she has already gained from extensive corporate consulting and on other advisory and supervisory boards, Ms Christiansen will be a real asset in tackling the tasks that lie before the freenet AG Supervisory Board,” adds Dr Hartmut Schenk, Chairman of the freenet AG Supervisory Board.

Sabine Christiansen has become an institution in the German media landscape through her many years of presenting the news journal Tagesthemen and her own Sunday talk show, Sabine Christiansen. A business editor by training, the multi-award-winning journalist is a Managing Partner at the media production company TV21 GmbH and sits on various advisory and supervisory boards.

Sabine Christiansen replaces Achim Weiss on the freenet AG Supervisory Board with immediate effect. The Executive Board and Supervisory Board of freenet AG would like to thank Mr Weiss, who stepped down from the board at his own request, for his hard work and for a good and constructive working relationship in the past few years.
